• What is Potenza?

  Potenza is a laser procedure that inserts micro-needles into the dermal layer of the skin and utilizes radiofrequency (RF) energy to create smooth skin without damaging the epidermis. It helps improve pore contraction, acne and acne scars, fine wrinkles, and overall skin tone and texture.

• How many sessions of Potenza are needed?

  While there may be individual differences, we recommend 3 to 6 sessions or more, at 4-week intervals. You will see gradual improvement after about a month, and with consistent treatment, you can expect to see effects such as gradual reduction of pores or scars.

• What are the symptoms immediately after Potenza?

  You may experience stinging, redness, and swelling on the same day. Inflammatory acne may also appear in one or two spots. Symptoms vary by individual and improve within 1-2 weeks. Scabs resembling fine dead skin will form within 2-3 days. Do not remove them by hand; manage by applying moisturizing or regenerating cream.

• Difference between Potenza and Fraxel

  While the purpose of both lasers is the same, Potenza targets the inner dermal layer with high-frequency RF, allowing it to alleviate pores and scars without damaging the epidermis. Therefore, it can be performed without stressing the skin, has minimal downtime, and delivers even more superior results.

• Potenza precautions?

  Please avoid strenuous exercise, drinking, and smoking for a week. If peeling occurs, do not remove it with your hands, and frequently reapply moisturizing or regenerating cream.

• Are there any procedures to remove sebaceous glands?

  We also offer procedures that help improve sebaceous glands with Potenza Agnès. We recommend 3 or more sessions at 4-week intervals, and you can gradually experience a reduction in sebum secretion.

• I was told that Potenza stimulates the sebaceous glands, causing temporary dryness. Can I still get the procedure if I have dry skin?

  Individuals with dry skin can also undergo the procedure. Applying moisturizing or regenerating cream during the laser treatment will help alleviate dryness.
