What is Potenza?
It is a laser procedure that creates smooth skin by inserting micro-needles into the dermal layer of the skin and utilizing high-frequency (RF) energy without damaging the epidermis. This leads to improvements such as pore contraction, reduction of acne and acne scars, improvement of fine wrinkles, and enhancement of skin tone and texture.
How many Potenza treatments are needed?
While there are individual differences, we recommend 3 to 6 sessions or more at 4-week intervals. You can expect to see gradual improvements in pores and scars with consistent treatment, with noticeable changes starting around the first month.
What are the symptoms immediately after Potenza?
You may experience stinging, redness, and swelling on the same day. Inflammatory acne may also appear in one or two spots. Symptoms vary by individual and improve within 1-2 weeks. Scabs resembling fine dead skin will form within 2-3 days. Do not remove them by hand; manage by applying moisturizer or regenerative cream.
Potenza and Fraxel Difference
Although the purpose of the two lasers is the same, Potenza targets the inner dermis with high-frequency RF, allowing it to alleviate pores and scars without damaging the epidermis. Therefore, it can be performed without burdening the skin, has less downtime, and offers superior results.
Potenza Precautions?
For one week, please avoid overly strenuous exercise, alcohol consumption, and smoking. If dead skin cells occur, do not remove them with your hands, and frequently apply moisturizing or regenerating cream.
Are there any procedures to remove sebaceous glands?
We also offer procedures that help improve sebaceous glands with Potenza Agnès. We recommend 3 or more sessions at 4-week intervals, and you can gradually experience a reduction in sebum secretion.
I was told that Potenza temporarily dries out the skin by affecting the sebaceous glands. Can I still get the procedure if I have dry skin?
Even those with dry skin can undergo the procedure. If you apply moisturizing or regenerating cream during the laser treatment, the dryness will be less severe.
